I had this inspiration waking up from sleep that all my basketball picks should be free to the public, especially since last week’s choices were so brutal.
Just one problem. The picks are free! Yes, I admit to being the weakest link! I hated that show.
Tues., Jan. 29
USF +12 at Marquette: Bad news for South Florida. Marquette is 10-0 at home and 6-0 as a favorite. MARQUETTE.
SD State +10 at Colo St: The visiting Aztecs are 5-2 ATS on the road and have covered their last four. The Rams are 1-3 ATS at home. SD STATE.
Wed., Jan. 30
Saint Louis +11 at Dayton: The Billikens once scored 20 this season. And they’re going to beat Dayton? Nope. DAYTON.
Memphis -16 at Houston: Conference USA is a walk in the park for the unbeaten Tigers. This could be their toughest test. HOUSTON.
Wyoming +11 at Utah: The Pokes did cover at UNLV, but had dropped five straight previously. And, a 3-10 ATS mark for the year is not encouraging. UTAH.
Thurs., Jan. 31
NC State +16 at Duke: With the Tar Heels losing to Maryland, Duke now has visions of a regular season ACC title. DUKE.
Stanford -6 at Washington: The Huskies did a number against Arizona State and could do the same at home against the Lopez twins. WASHINGTON.
Fri., Feb. 1
Cornell +1 at Brown: The entire Ivy League is a quagmire. With the game figuring to be a toss-up, we’ll take the easy way out. BROWN.
Sat., Feb. 2
Kentucky +3 at Georgia: The Wildcats need every win they can get to secure an NCAA berth, which looked hopeless two weeks ago. KENTUCKY.
Baylor +4 at Texas: After beating Texas A&M in that incredible 5-OT game, the Bears have to think they can beat anyone in the Big 12 (except Kansas). Yes, even Texas. BAYLOR.
Rutgers +14 at Louisville: The Scarlet Knights upset Villanova and did play well down the stretch in a blowout loss to North Carolina. Maybe they can hang here. RUTGERS.
New Mexico +2 at UNLV: The Rebels showed rust in a lackluster win over Wyoming, except for Wink Adams. Look for Wink to make Lobos blink. UNLV.
Sun., Feb. 3
N’western +18 at Indiana: The Hoosiers were stunned by UConn, and the Wildcats are 4-2 ATS on the road. N’WESTERN.
Mon., Feb. 4
Gonzaga +3 at St. Mary’s: The two best teams in the Big West. The Zags are still on the mountain top. ZAGS.
