Rangers -120 vs Twins (9˝)

So who knew San Diego would manage its second highest run total of the season? We’ll try to bounce back with a matchup of polar opposites. Livan Hernandez has been Minnesota’s most effective pitcher. The Twins are 5-0 in his starts, outscoring their opponents 25-15. On the flip side, the Rangers have lost eight of their last nine.

Vicente Padilla has pitched well in spots for Texas, which is 3-2 in his outings. However, Rangers pitching of late has been shelled for 84 runs in the current 1-8 slide. Hernandez is durable, capable of throwing 120-140 pitches if necessary. He has had five straight quality starts and, with Texas in a funk, looks favorable for a sixth Minnesota victory. TWINS.
