Hasim Rahman, a mostly unknown 28-year old boxer from Baltimore, shocked WBC/IBF heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis by knocking him out 2:32 of the fifth round in a match at the Carnival City Casino in Brakpan, South Africa Saturday night PST (early Sunday morning in South Africa).

Rahman closed +1200 at The Mirage Saturday night and now has a 35-2 record. Lewis closed —1600 and now has a record of 38-2-1.

In the contract, if Lewis were to lose, there is a automatic rematch.

In the round proposition bet, “it won’t go 5½ rounds” was —145 earlier this week at The Mirage and was the winner. “Will go 5½ rounds” was +115.
