All four underdogs covered Saturday’s Game 1’s in the NBA playoffs’ first round.

The Indiana Pacers (+6½) rallied from an 18-point deficit on the court to defeat top-seeded Philadelphia 76ers 79-78 in the Eastern Conference in Philadelphia. Also in the East, the Charlotte Hornets (+5½) crushed the Miami Heat 106-80 at Miami.

In the West, both favorites won their games on the court, but did not cover closing lines. Top-seeded San Antonio Spurs (—9) beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 87-82, while the Utah Jazz (—3) rallied to beat the Dallas Mavericks 88-86.

As for totals, all games went under, except the Charlotte-Miami game. The Indiana-Philadelphia total was 180, Dallas-Utah was 193 and Minnesota-San Antonio was 183.

The Charlotte-Miami total was 168½.
