Kansas City Royals at Cleveland Indians: Right-hander Luke Hochevar (1-1, 5.49 ERA) takes the mound for the Royals against Indians’ southpaw C.C. Sabathia (1-4, 7.88) in this second game of a four-game series. After his poor performance in April, as the gaudy numbers indicate, Sabathia is now saying that his problems are behind him. Now if the Tribe could score their ace a couple of runs…

Kansas City (12-15) has cooled off a bit after its hot start and is just 3-7 in its last 10 games and now finds themselves in an all too familiar place after the first month of the season – in last place – in the AL Central. Cleveland (13-15), although just 7-9 at Jacobs Field, has picked it up a bit and is finally starting to score some runs for its pitchers. The Indians need to beat up on their tough divisional foes (Tigers, White Sox, Twins and Royals) and in this matchup, the lean is toward the home team with an able ace trying to get his numbers back to Earth. INDIANS.
