At Hollywood Park we hit our trifecta and superfecta in race three, the tri paid $35 for one dollar and the super paid $162 for a buck. We then moved on and hit the early pick four with both of our tickets getting back $206 for two dollars. We blew race five as Sassou got wiped out at the start. We hit the exacta in race six for $87. Out key horse in the seventh ran third. We ran one two in the last race. At Bay Meadows we had a bonanza for the Bay as we hit the early pick four and collected $429.70 for a buck. We had the late pick four going but lost the last leg, but all and all it was a super day.

No. 3 Tootsnmoneybags could be dangerous has he ships in from phily park for trainer Sise who popped with a horse that looked just like this one this past weekend. The No. 4 Warren’s Mystery comes back off a little layoff and gets off the grass, she could be live at a good price. The others with a chance are the No. 1 Yearly Gift, No. 2 Shebang and No. 8 Angel’s Reward who broke her maiden here at this distance last November.
10¢ superfecta box 1-2-3-4-8 for $12
$2 key Q 4 with 1-2-3-7 for $8
No. 1 Missvinski comes off a layoff for trainer Julio Canani and his main jock is up for the ride, this girl is 3 for 3 at this distance and looks ready to run. 1
There are two horses in this race that ran together No. 2 Like New Money and No. 4 Gold Trim who is a synthetic track specialist and is two for two here at Hollywood Park, these two could run one two and we will play some trifectas keying on them with all.
$1 tri key 2-4 with 2-4 with 1-3-5-6-7-8-9 for $14
$1 tri key 2-4 with 1-3-5-6-7-8-9 with 2-4 for No. 14
This race could offer a nice payout as there are at least eight horses in here with a legit chance at the win, so we will look for a few price horses. No. 3 Woodward Park is a first time starter out of the O’Neill barn and is 15-1 in the morning line with M Baze in the irons. No. 4 Awesome Graf ships in from Turf Paradise and lands in the Mullins barn and he is 10/1 in the morning line. No. 5 Ringmaster a deep closer who has been knocking on the door is also 15/1 in the morning line and his trainer and jockey combo have been on fire with four wins from eight starters. We will make a little exacta box and bet all three on the win end.
$2 exacta box 3-4-5 for $12
$6 win on 3-4-5for $18
The competition is very deep in this field so we will once again go looking for some price plays. The No. 2 Categorize’s last win came here at Hollywood at this 6 furlong on the turf distance and she is 15-1 in the morning line. No. 11 Stellina is 20-1 in the morning line and her only win was here at Hollywood on this course, Marty Jones brings her back off the layoff with jockey Talamo in the irons. This girl has been stabled here all along and looks like she could light up the tote. The main girl in here is the No. 1 Mama Lula how just did miss in her last start and if she can stay out of trouble from her rail post she can win.
$2 exact box 1-2-11 for $12
$6 win on the 2 and 11 for $12
If a first time starter doesn’t win it will be No. 4 Dr. Skimming who is unlucky to still be a maiden. Trainer O’Neil has given her some time off and now he comes back with jockey Bejarano in the saddle he should be first or second. There are several live first timers in here, No. 7 Ribald out of the Sherman barn with some good works in tow and No. 12, I am Game who was best of 41 on April 27. 4-7-12
No. 3 Major Pleasure come back with bullets in his holster and looks ready to fire a big shot with Bejarano up for the ride. This one looks ready to roll. No. 5 Street Lights likes this oval and could look much improved off his last and Espinoza tags along. 3-5
No. 2 Schaghticoke Hill ran two very good races last year with Clinton Potts in the irons and he gets back aboard for this and the switch to Hollywood could be the answer. No. 10 Cinderella Ella ran ok in her one and only here last June and Solis has had good success riding for trainer Becerra. Trainer Frankel give up on No. 15 Burnt as he drops her to the bottom in hopes he gets a win and she gets claimed. 2-10-15
There are a total of 44 horses lined up for the night card at Bay Meadows and let me tell you this is one sad card with four five horse fields and four six horse fields and few if any prices to look for.
No. 3 could offer a little value as he is double jumped in class and trying the grass for underrated trainer A L Diaz.
In here the No. 3 looks like a short price winner.
Race 3: 2-3
Race 4: 1-5
The No. 6 Ben’s Starry Night is wheeled back in 8 days off the maiden breaker and could repeat at a fair price.
Race 6: 4-5
Race 7: 2-4
Race 8: 2-3
Don’t forget to check for late scratches and changes.
