Dallas Stars at Detroit Red Wings (G5) (-270, 5; LVH) (NBC): It’s a pretty early (10:30 am PT/1:30 pm ET) start for gamblers but then again we’re used to getting up early to try and make something out of nothing. This game, should be approached like betting Big Brown in the Preakness later this afternoon – try and find something to hook it up with due to the big (-270) betting price.

Why so big you ask? Well they don’t call it Hockeytown for nothing as Detroit has reeled off 10 straight wins at Joe Louis including seven in a row this postseason. And the Red Wings have gone 8-1 since making Chris Osgood their starting goalie midway through the Predators series

The most powerful stat in this one though is Stars goalie Marty Turco’s record at Joe Louis since he’s entered the league: 0-9-2. That’s 11 losses in 11 games sports fans. 11-11. Let’s try for 12-12 and send the Stars golfing. RED WINGS -270.
