At Pimlico it was a super performance by Big Brown, but we went down the tubes as our horses in back of him ran up the track.

At Hollywood Park it looked like carryover city, so today we will have a big pick six carryover to take a shot at. We did hit our win bet in Race 3 and the Q. We also hit our win bet in Race 11, but blew the Q.

At Golden Gate our key play ran 1-2-3-4, but our key horse ran third so we collected zip. We did hit our key exacta in Race 5, but our trifecta was a scratch. We did have all the winners from Race 5 on out.

Hollywood Park

Race 4

This is the start of the big pick six carryover and well use a four-horse spread in this very tough heat with No. 2 Smooch, winner of her last start here and No. 4 Sneaky Jack off the Cerin claim and he is .27 percent first off the claim. The two droppers who exit the same highly rated race are No. 6 Bold Cleo and No. 8 Perfect Rhyme. 2-4-6-8

Race 5

No. 1 Liberian Freighter gets a great post and is as tough and consistent as they come. He will be first or second in here. His main danger will come from No. 7 Cinder Cone, who comes back with blinkers and Rosario. No. 4 Man To Man looks set for a top effort in this his second start of a little layoff. 1-4-7

Race 6

This one is wide open so we will just have to take a stab at a few price horses and hope for the best. No. 5 Stettler looks live for Jeff Mullins as he brings this girl in from Turf Paradise and puts Rosario in the irons. The No. 7 Ready Mode looks like the winner of the sixth race on Saturday that paid $34. She was only 4-1 in her debut in December in an 80k claimer and that ended up being a key race. 5-7

Race 7

This looks like it is between No. 1 No Ka Oi who just won on this course and gets the cozy one hole and No. 7 Anns Plan, who is double jumped way up in class once again by Jeff Mullins. 1-7

Race 8

The No. 1 Two Step Salsa gets her second try on this 6f turf course and ran a good one in her first outing. She will be very hard to deny today. We will take our shot here and single her. 1

Race 9

Fillies and Mares going a flat mile on the grass and only No. 3 Cassablanca has been near par for this type of race. However, she could not get it done on the Bay Meadows grass and will be a short price today with the trouble-prone Solis riding. We will look at No. 5 Aspen Diamond on the Carla Gaines stretch out, who looks ready for her best. Lets take another shot and single her. 5
