Yesterdays results

At Hollywood we ran second and third in race one as the even money chalk won. We ran second and third in race two, we had the winner in race three and four. Our first key play as the one horse won but our other key horse got chewed up in the stretch. We had the winner in race six but lost the seventh. We hit big with our key play in the last race hitting the $1 tri for $180.60 and the dime super for $122 and we just did miss the super high five losing leg five. At the Gate We hit our key play in race six with our $20 win bet and our $10 Q.

HOLLYWOOD PARK

Race 1

Steve Sherman ships in No. 6 Siberzar from Bay Meadows where he failed in his last two races as the big chalk, he does take a dip in class and his owner Bone wants to give this guy away and get the possible win but his 1 for 20 win record is a big concern. Mike Mitchell drops No. 1 Romance Is Zenon to his lowest level looking for the win and this lightly raced 3yo just may have found his friends here. 1-6

Race 2

No. 3 Sheza Maneater has speed and is dropped in class for this, if able to clear early she will be long gone. No. 4 Speed Passport tried the Bay Meadows turf in her first start and really did not run that bad in a straight maiden race, she now sports blinkers and goes to the cushion track and this 32k maiden claimer. No. 5 Warren’s Grandslam looks to be the closer in here. 3-4-5

Race 3

50k claimer for fillies and mares going 1 1/8 on the grass and none of these have run par for this type of race so this will be a guessing game. The lone speed in here appears to be No. 2 Exclusive Danielle, she has won on this course and is the only one in here that has won at this distance. No. 4 Chelcee’s Hope is an interesting 6yo mare as she has only two wins in twenty starts but trainer Mike Mitchell claimed her for 32k, he then ran her in a 40k optional even on the cushion surface and now puts her back on the grass for a 50k tag, he must like the way she is doing. 2-4

Race 4

This is another grab bag as none of these have run par for this type of race but there looks to be enough speed signed on to set up the closing kick of No. 7 Sting’n in the Rain who drops and gets back on the cushion track off a failed attempt on the grass. No. 5 Was last seen running for 40k at Calder last September she just may be live in this spot. 5-7

Race 5

Fillies and Mares running in this 80k maiden claimer and you just never no what to expect from these young lasses, but we will delve and see what we can come up with, No. 7 Ornamental Torch could be a hunch play as the Olympic torch resumes it course to China and this girl gets her second start of the layoff and looks ready for her best. No. 8 Treat ran big in her one and only at Santa Anita and got redtagged for 50k out of that start in which the winner came back and won her next out. No. 11 Deo Favente 20-1 in the morning line is a first time starter out of the Marty Jones barn and he can pop at a big price on occasion and he uses Rosario who also can bring in a bomber. 7-8-11

Race 6

No. 1 Held Up is in top form for a 16k claimer and his trainer must be aware of that as he wheels this 4yo gelding right back off the won here at Hollywood on May 10th. I don’t like the inside draw going 7 furlongs but his jock Pedroza will have him in a good stalking position and pounce down the lane. The bottom drops out on the bottom horse No. 7 He’s The Rage, this 7yo could compete big time and has run huge on this track, if he has three legs they wont beat him for t his 16k tag. We will take a shot and make a key play on this race using top and bottom. 1-7

Key Play

$1 tri 1-7 with 1-7 with all for $10

$1 tri 1-7 with all with 1-7 for $10

We will also play a late pick three using both.

Race 7

No. 2 Wickednwackyingrid is 6-5 in the morning line and looks it on numbers, if she repeats her last effort on this 6f turf course she wins. We will single her in the late pick th three. 2

Race 8

2yo going 4½ furlongs, this one is very dicey and we will take a shot and use all eight that are entered and hope for a long shot. All

Key Play

$1 pick three

6th 1-7

7th 2

8th 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8 for $16

GOLDEN GATE FIELDS

Race 1

Any one of the six entered can win this, the there that look the best are 1-2-3

Race 2

This race could offer a little value if they bet on No. 4 Danzings Secret who is 9-5 in the morning line, she should be 3-1. We will be betting on No. 6 Butterfly Belle who is dropped into an action spot and tries the Golden Gate poly track for the first time. 6

Key Play

$10 win and place No. 6 for $20

Race 3

3yo fillies going a flat mile on the grass is no easy assignment, No. 1 Starstream has won two of three grass starts and won here at a flat mile on the grass, she is the one to beat at 4-1 with jockey Beato in the irons. 1

Race 4

In here No. 3 Justify Downtown just broke her maiden for 8k and now is correctly spotted in this 4k non winners or two claimer, she will need to beat the morning line chalk in here No. 7 Bouccaneer Belle. The jockey and trainer stats on No. 3 are also very good as these two win together approximately at a clip of .40%. No. 6 Sassy Dot just ran behind the morning line favorite and we will also use her in the mix. 3

Key Play

$20 win No. 3 for $20

$10 key Q 3 with 6-7 for $20

Race 5

2yo going the unusual distance of 4 furlongs with just No. 2 meeting the starter. Trainer Lage won this race on Wednesday for Tommy Town the owner and breeder and he looks like he has the live 1 and 1a entry, we will single in the late pick four. 1

Race 6

We are going long shot shopping in this $12,500 maiden claimer, we will use comebacker No. 4 Laur 15-1, speedball No. 5 Little Ava 10-1 and the other comebacker No. 9 Finicky 20-1 and hope for the best in this wide open race. 4-5-9

Race 7

We will take another shot and use No. 3 Warren’s Pepe who Jerry Hollendorfer drops to an all time low and uses Kaenel who has done great work for Jerry. We will also use No. 8 Chief Cocca who will be flying late at a big price. 3-8

Race 8

No. 3 Trust Nobody ships in from Hollywood for Peter Miller and R Baze will ride, No. 4 Buck Tuddy Buck is sent here via Hollywood by dad Art to son Steve and is dropped like a hot potato. 3-4

Key Play

$1 pick four

5th 1 or 1a

6th 4-5-9

7th 3-8

8th 3-4 for $12

DON’T FORGET AND CHECK FOR LATE SCRAT
