Yesterday’s results

At Hollywood, night racing was a debacle which led to another pick six carryover today, so we will string along and see if we can do better racing in the daylight with just one winner on the night card it won’t take a whole of a lot of winners to do better. At the Gate, we hit the first three races but our key play in race four was beaten by a $120 horse that freaked on the grass. We lost race five but ran one-two in race six; we lost the seventh and our key play ran second in the last race.

Hollywood Park

Race 1: 1-3-8

Race 2: 1-2-3

Race 3

We will take a chance on No. 1, Ne Ne, who makes her 3yo debut in here; she looks live at 12-1 in the morning line. 1

Key play: $10 win and place on No. 1 for $20

Race 4

This is leg one of the big pick six carryover and I have narrowed it down to No. 6, Foreign, who ran her best race on this layout last November, and No. 10, Courtly Couture, who just did miss by a half length last time out. 6-10

Race 5

There’s only one-way call here as the undefeated No. 6, Zenyatta, should run her record to 5-0. If you want and try and beat her, No. 4, Romance Is Diane, will try and take them wire to wire. 6

Race 6

No. 3, Sleepin In, showed high speed on the grass in her first start and now is tried on the cushion track, this 5yo mare just may get it done here. No. 8, Scout About, looked like the winner in her last but lost her rider when there was a spill, if all is ok she will be the late threat. 3-8

Race 7

In here I have narrowed it down to No. 6, All Set, who is jumped in class after a narrow loss in her last start and Frankel puts Bejarano in the irons, all systems are go with this girl. No. 7, Whatsitgonnatake, was last seen running at Churchill Downs last November, she show up here in the hot barn of Kathy Walsh. 6-7

Race 8

Just four got to the post in the GR2 Californian, I would like to use all four but will toss the bottom and just use No. 1, Heatseeker, No. 2, Tiago, and No. 4, Surf Cat. 1-2-4

Race 9

All we have to do is pluck the winner in this super tough $20k claimer with a field of 13; it is not an easy task. No. 2, Forest Danz, and No. 3, World War, are both dropping in class and just may be the answer. 2-3

$2 pick six for $96

Race 4: 6-10

Race 5: 6

Race 6; 3-8

Race 7: 6-7

Race 8: 1-2-4

Race 9: 2-3

Golden Gate Fields

Race 1

No. 4, Minnow, will be odds-on but ran a bad race in her one and only on the poly, let’s take a shot with the closer No. 3, Call Me Taylor. 3

Race 2: 2-4

Race 3

No. 7 Sexy Soldier drops off a nice win and should repeat at a short price. 7

Race 4

We will play my favorite numbers in this race: No. 7, Live Fast, who seems to have finally found a field he can beat and No. 11, Runaway Spirit, who exits the same race. 7-11

Key Play

$10 quinnella 7-11 for $10

Race 5: 7-8-11

Race 6: 5-8-11-12

Race 7

We will take a shot in this very weak field and use two first-time starters that look live, along with a come-backer. The two "firsters" are No. 10, Muqs Quest, and No. 11, Sovereign Rulers; the come-bacer is No. 12, Choice Pro. 10-11-12

Key Play

$2 exacta box 10-11-12 for $12

$1 tri box 10-11-12 for $6

Race 8: 2-3

Race 9: 1-2
