by Kevin Stott | Cincinnati Cyclones at Las Vegas Wranglers (-120, 5): Las Vegas goalie Kevin Lalande was brilliant in shutting out the visiting Cyclones, 2-0 at the Orleans Arena on Friday night and I expect much the same in this pivotal Game 5. Cincy’s netminder Cedrick Desjardins was pretty good himself and because of the huge importance of this game, scoring opportunities will be decreased as bhoth teams will clamp down on defense not wanting to get behind in such a big game.
As far as picking a side, this series has been a back-and-forth one with Cincy winning then LV winning and then Cincy winning again and then LV answering again. Who knows who ends up on the winning side of the scoreboard but only one game in this series has ecliped the five-goal mark and that was on a Cyclones’ empty-netter in Game 3 here in Sin City last Thursday night (4-2). Five goals should be the maximum number scored and with the Las Vegas Hilton’s SuperBook posting a total of 5 again here, let’s go low. UNDER 5.
