Yesterday’s results

At Hollywood in race one we could not run down the speed and had to settle for second, in race two our single Epic Power won but was DQ to last in one of the worst decisions by the California Stewards that I have ever seen, and they wonder why the handle goes down and down. We had the winners in races three and four. In race five we lost our key play as the long shot was let go on the front end and held on for the win. In race six our horses ran one two. We had the winner in race seven but lost the last race. At the Gate trainer Miyadi won with the chalk in race one which was one of the strangest races I have seen in a while as the closer went to the front and his speed horse came from last to win going away. We lost race two, ran first and second in race three, had the winner in race four and five and then all hell broke loss when the odds on chalk got scratched in race six leading to a $71 winner and then it got worse in race seven when the horse that Baze was on that went off at 50¢ on the dollar broke down but we did win the last race.

Hollywood Park

Post time 7:05 pm

Race 1

No. 3, Ghosttrapper, will show his high speed and try to take these all the way on the front end. No. 6, Scat Thief, will be coming late along with No. 5, Im All Out. 3-5-6

Race 2

No. 3, Dawn Star Rising, is on my horses to watch list and if able to improve off her first start she will be right there. No. 4, Bea’s Cee, showed good speed in her first start and will be the one to catch along with the other speed horse No. 7, Just N Excess. 3-4-7

Race 3

The last time No. 9, Sting’n In the Rain, ran we were all over her but she was just to far back and her last kick was just that late. She gets an extra furlong today and that should get it done.

Key Play

$20 win on No. 9

Race 4

No. 6, Bigum, has lost 16 races but has been right there several times and Pedroza just did miss with him last time our first off the claim, maybe tonight will be the night. No. 9, One Track Mind, ran big in his one and only, if he don’t bounce he will be the winner. 6-9

Race 5

No. 3, Mind the Minister, very seldom runs a bad race and finds a field he can handle albeit at a short price, single in the picks. 3

Race 6

No. 3, Superfecta, shipped in from Phily Park and won going away in his last start, he takes a jump in class so his trainer must like the way this guy is doing. The second place finisher of that race has already come back to win. No. 8, Benchmark Kid, got a hard fought win to break his maiden last time out, he has the looks of a maiden breaker that can step up and face winners. 3-8

Race 7

This is one tough race and we will spread deep and play the late pick four, in this race we will use 1-2-3-5-6

Race 8

No. 4, Warren’s Cookie, is sitting on the maiden breaker and this distance of 6 ½ furlongs just may be right up her alley. No. 13, Schaghticoke Hill, came flying late to just miss last time out and now gets an extra half furlong, she will be right there on the line. 4-13

Key Play

$1 pick four for $20

Race 5: 3

Race 6: 3-8

Race 7: 1-2-3-5-6

Race 8: 4-13

Golden Gate Fields

Post time 1:05 pm

Race 1

Trainer Martin brings back No. 5, Like Running, water who has a record of 3 wins and 3 seconds on the grass, if he is ready he will take some beating. No. 6, Super Harmony, looks to be the main danger. 3-6

Race 2

No. 2, Forever Chocolate, and No. 6, Gorilla Mountain, exit the same race and could be one two in here. 2-6

Race 3

In this 5 furlong turf sprint No. 3, Good Time’N Dixie, is 8-1 in the morning line, if able to transfer her speed to the grass she could be a very nice play and she has won four of seven lifetime starts. 3

Key Play

$10 win and place No. 3 for $20

Race 4: 1-8-10

Race 5: 2-5-11

Race 6

In here No. 1, Grand Atlantic, will be odds on off the huge race she ran here on May 21, the one that could stop here is No. 4, Little Bug, who gets a good jockey for this mile turf race in Schvaneveldt. 1-4

Race 7

In here No. 8, Top Gone, was last seen at Del Mar last August and now make his comeback for Gary Mandella in what looks like a great spot for the maiden breaker, he is listed at 7-2 in the morning line, I will be all in if able to get 2/1, this looks to be a good single in the late pick three. 8

Race 8

The highly regarded Indyanne makes her 3yo debut after crushing her overmatched foes last year in two races, she was 40¢ and 5¢ on the dollar in those two wins. They were however both on the dirt and this will be her first try on the poly. No. 5, Highly Quick, is a 6yo win machine who has won seven of sixteen lifetime starts and should not be overlooked in this spot vs 3yo. 3-5

Key Play

$2 pick three for $8

Race 6: 1-4

Race 7: 8

Race 8: 3-5
