Race 1

No. 3, Mananan McLir, is being wheeled back in just six days of what was a troubled trip in a race he was best, this 9yo still has some run in him. No. 1, Plan for Fun, just won on this course and will be right there again today with the light weight Campos in the irons. 1-3

Race 2

No. 1, Sangay, could not beat her stable mate last time our but finds a much easier bunch today. The stranger in here is No. 6, Andmoreagain, who was last seen at Keeneland in October, she may find California to her liking. 1-6

Race 3

In this very evenly matched 1 1/16 mile route for maiden fillies and mares none of the runners that run here have run par for this type of race so we will go with the comebacker that just did miss at Saratoga last August, she ran with some good fillies back East and if she is ready could pop at a nice price. No. 5, Aspen Diamond, ran good in her first try at a route last time but that was on the grass, if able to transfer her grass form to the cushion track she will be very tough in here. 1-5

Key Play

$1 pick three for $8

1st 1-3

2nd 1-6

3rd 1-5

Race 4

No. 2, Minister Blair, just loves this turf course as he has 5 wins and 4 seconds from 11 starts, this is one tough 7yo gelding. No. 3, Toasted, has been facing much tougher and now drops into an action spot for the dangerous Bone/Mitchell combo. No. 6, Kris Silver, will duke it out with Caymbe in what could turn out to be a speed duel but Kris has two wins from four tries at a flat mile on the grass. 2-3-6

Key Play

$1 pick four for $12

Race 5 LEG ONE OF THE BIG STATIOINS CASINO TWIN Q CARRYOVER OF 23K

We will use two key horse in both legs of the twin q, the second leg is race eight. In this race the key will be No. 1, Sydney’s Secret, who actually ran ok in her first start since last May, she is now dropped into a 32k maiden claimer from the straight maiden ranks but she is a 5yo and its now or head up North. She has a top trainer on her side and the turf to cushion angle may work as she will be flying late. We will key here with the 2-4-6-10-11

In race eight our key horse will be No. 8, Makasi, who drops into a more realistic spot after running fifth in the Cinderella Stakes, if that race didn’t hurt her mentally she will be right there. No. 2, Floating On Air, is the out and out speed, gets her first start off the O’Neill claim and exits a key race. We will use both and then key on No. 8 with the 2-6

TWIN Q $2

5th 1 with 2-4-6-10-11

6th 8 with 2-6 for $40

Race 6

No. 1, Twix, drops trying to cash for Avila. No. 3, Adarlyn Cat, is always right there and finds a weak field for her first try off the little layoff. No. 8, Miss Helene, has won four of ten starts and must be used on the drop. 1-3-8

Race 7

No. 4, Bahama Mama, beat No. 7, Lightmyfirebaby, last time they competed on this 6f turf course but Mama was DQ and Lightmyfire was put up, Mama has revenge on her mind. The one that could stop both of them is No. 6, Silky Smooth, she has been working great and look ready to fire a big shot. 4-6-7

Race 8

Check commentary above (race 5).

GOLDEN GATE FIELDS

Race 1

There are two shippers that look like the race, No. 1 Dixieland Classic and No. 6 Smart’N Striking. 1-6

Race 2

No. 2 Prime Ruler ships here off a nice win down South and is double jumped in class but his closing style may suit this race that has a ton of speed lined up. No. 3 Thoughtuknew will try and take them wire to wire. 2-3

Race 3

1-2-3-5-7

Key Play

$1 pick three for $20

1st 1-6

2nd 2-3

3rd 1-2-3-5-7

Race 4

This is one lousy bunch of $12,500 maiden 3yo fillies, 5-6-7-8

Race 5

No. 4, Holy Lark, stays at the 4k claiming price of his win here May 18 and looks to be the one to beat. The entry of No. 1 Stella’s Posada and 1a Sectaurs will be his main danger. 1-4

Race 6

2yo fillies going 4 ½ furlongs, 1-4-10

Race 7

No. 6, Motel Staff, is a 11yo gelding who is still running strong but is dropped to $6,250 after just missing for $12,500, I doubt that anyone will dig in and claim this old pro so he just may have these at his mercy. His main danger could come from No. 1 High in The Air who drops form 25k to this level the lowest he has ever been. He does have a win on this layout and could pose some danger. 1-6

Race 8

3-5-6
