Yesterday’s results

At Hollywood Park we lost the first race, we ran first and second in race two, we hit our key play $5 exacta box in race three when we ran first second and third. We ran second in race four, won the fifth and our single in race six won by a nose, which got us home in our key play, the late pick three which paid $89.90 for one dollar. At the Gate, we had a case of "seconditis." We ran second in race one and two, we didn’t play against the odds-on choice in race three and he won. In race four and five we ran second. Our key horse, Blue Reason, won race six but we ran second in race seven and would have had a nice late pick three as we had an all in the last race catching a $14.60 horse.

Hollywood Park

Race 1

This really looks like a three horse race with No. 1, Left Unsaid, No. 2, Cavanal, who both lost by a nose last time and the speed of the race No. 5, Scibelli. 1-2-5

Key Play

$5 exacta box 1-2-5 for $30

Race 2

Race 3

No. 3, Tangled Tango, is always right there and may finally get that elusive win number two. This guy looks like a short price winner and single material. 3

Race 4: 1-5-8

Race 5

I like the horses that are exiting the Tribal Justice race: No. 2, Seven Point One, No. 3 Whatwillbewillbe, and No. 8 Elusive Destiny. 2-3-8

Race 6

This one looks like a good price play and we will go with three that just may offer a good payoff in this very competitive race. No. 8, Darling Mambo, fits with these and could pop at a big price with low profile jock Almeida in the irons. No. 10, Pokomoke, also fits with these and could pop right back at a good price. The last price play is No. 12, Mood Winner, who gets back with her friends, she likes this track and could be overlooked in the betting. 8-10-12

Race 7

No. 5, Dancing Silks, may have bounced in his last race, if able to run back to his maiden breaker he will win. No. 6, Smart Hit, and No. 7, Swiss Ski, exit the same last race and could both be in the exotics. 5-6-7

Race 8: 4-7

Race 9

The drop in class for No. 1, Shootist, could result in a wire to wire effort; he is 10-1 in the morning line and if we can get half that price we will take a shot. No. 3, Iza General, also drops and will be chasing the early speed. No. 6, Senator Matty, is another dropper that could be dangerous. 1-3-6

Golden Gate Fields

Race 1: 4-5-7

Race 2: 1-3-4

Race 3: 3-4-6-7

Race 4

Jockey Gryder is in town for some rides, including on No. 5, Cherokee Heaven, who looks one two in this flat mile on the grass. His main dangers are No. 4, Seismic Thuinder, the 1 and 1A entry and No. 7, Tap It Light. We will key the five and make some Q’s.

Key Play

$10 Q 5 with 1-4-7 for $30

Race 5: 7-8

Race 6: 2-3-9

Race 7: 3-9-10

Race 8

This one looks like a battle between come-backer, No. 5, Black Seventeen, and the very tough No. 7, VicariNo. 5-7

Race 9: 1-6-7-8
