'Old Vegas Prices' have returned

On the Cheap by H Scot Krause | "Old Vegas Prices" have returned at the Bighorn Casino and Longhorn Casino.

The Bighorn is offering a 6 oz. New York Steak and Shrimp dinner with salad, potato, vegetable and dinner roll for only $5.99. The Longhorn is offering an 8 oz. New York Steak dinner with salad, potato, vegetable and roll for only $4.99.

Now that’s "on the cheap!"

Poker Palace in North Las Vegas has new graveyard specials being served from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. including Biscuits and Gravy for $1.49, Bacon and Eggs for $1.99 or Steak and Eggs for $4.99. Cash your paycheck at Poker Palace and "Spin the Paycheck Wheel" with a chance to win up to $1,000.

Every spin wins cash or comps. Prizes range from 2-for-1 dinner vouchers all the way up to matching your paycheck up to $1,000. There is an outer wheel with cash, food and comps along with an inner wheel with cash only.

When landing on "Spin the Inner Wheel" on the first spin, you get a chance for the higher cash prizes. And, you can cash any paycheck over $200 to get two free drinks in addition to the spin. Any check cashed over $600 gets two free drinks and two free snacks from the snack bar.

Cash your paycheck at the Sahara’s Main Cage and receive two free drinks. Also, Club Sahara Members get a discount off the regular price of a juicy prime rib, baked potato and fresh vegetable medley.  New graveyard specials are also being offered at the Hacienda Casino Hotel in Boulder City including Bacon or Sausage and Eggs for 99 cents, Giant Ham Steak and Eggs for $2.99 and Steak and Eggs for $5.99 all served with hash browns and toast from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m.

This month’s specials at Silverton Casino Lodge include Fajitas and ’Ritas (Margaritas) for $9.95 at Mi Casa, 50 percent off Fish & Chips at Mermaids, $4 Baskets of Wings at the Shady Grove Lounge and $1 cherry pie slices located at the Sundance Grill.
