Yesterday’s results

At Hollywood Park in race one our key play had a ton of trouble while running out. We had the winner in race two, we lost race three but had the winner in race four. We ran second and third in race five, which cost us our double as we had the winner in race six. Our pick in the seventh never ran a step and our Horses to Watch (HTW) in race eight ran big at 20-1 but was nosed for fourth. At the Gate, our single in race one ran up the track, we lost race two but had the winner in the third and fourth races. Out key horse in race five won but we could not get the second horse and lost the trifecta. We won the last three races and ran one two in race eight and the exacta for $2 paid $55.

Hollywood Park

Post Time 7:05 pm

Race 1

In here I like two horses exiting the same race, No. 1, Angeletta, and No. 6, Bye Bye Ladies, the were noses apart in that race and could finish one two in this race. 1-6

Race 2

No. 8, Spring Catch, changed tactics in her last start and came from off the pace, she looks to be sitting on the maiden breaker. No. 2, Pass Me The Sugar, is a second time starter out of the Brain Koriner barn and he wins at a 32% clip with second time starters and he has several live ones on tonight’s card, he could have a big Friday. No. 5, Our Storm, is a come-backer that looks live. 2-5-8

Race 3

The No. 4, Lemon Kiss, ran huge at Bay Meadows May 9 and if able to transfer her form to the cushion track she wins this race. She has run big on the grass so she should be able to handle this surface and her trainer Jerry Hollendorfer don’t make many mistakes as he has been bringing this girl along with much patience. No. 4

Race 4

No. 2, Hasty Court, drops a tad and gets and extra furlong, she will be coming late. No. 6, Stag On the Run, will have to be caught. No. 14, Fire Scout, is another second time starter for trainer Koriner. 2-6-14

Race 5

No. 4, Queen Holly, was scratched on Thursday for this spot, she won at 90 cents on the dollar in her last. No. 3, Dance With Tigers, was second to Queen Holly last time and will try and turn the tables. No. 8, Hottodi, goes from kid Canani to his dad Julio as he tries to figure this girl out. 3-4-8

Race 6

No. 3, Zetterberg, was highly regarded as a 2yo but could not get the job done in four tries, all his races could beat this bunch. No. 11, Elusive Pleasure, gets his second start for trainer Koriner and this could be his best of the day. We will use both in the late Pick Three. 3-11

Race 7

This is a weak bunch of 3yo running 7f for a 25k claiming price. No. 2, Drewthegentleman, just won here on the cushion track at 7f May 8, he has worked well since and looks like the one to beat. No. 7 is double dropped by trainer O’Neill, if ok he will be the main danger to Drew. 2-7

Race 8

No. 1, Alotta Wild, had a very troubled trip last time and we will give her another shot. No. 10, My Sister Laureen, showed improved speed in her last and now gets blinkers. No. 6 Shesalittlepistol will go better today in her second start off the layoff. 1-6-10

Key Play

$2 Pick Four for $24

6th 3-11

7th 2-7

8th 1-6-10

Golden Gate Fields

Race 1: 2-3-4

Race 2

No. 5, Excessive Fun, is a rare shipper for trainer Jerry Fanning who brings this girl in off two nice races looking for the maiden breaker and possible getting her claimed for 20k, she looks like a short price winner. No. 5

Race 3

I prefer the two outside horses in this race, No. 6, Sgt.turner, and No. 7, Pack your Bag, who is a rare Eddie Truman shipper. 6-7

Race 4

I am staying outside in this race as No. 10, Alottadar, and No. 1A, Unusual Men, look best in here. 1A-10

Race 5

I don’t think any of them can win this race but if playing the late Pick Four we could use 2-3-4

Race 6

No. 1, Britney Heat, drops to her last claimed price and her rail post will only help her chances. No. 5, You Lift Me Up, is a recent claim by Hollendorfer for 32k and is now put in this optional claimer not up for sale, so Mr. J likes what he bought. No. 7, Hotrod Kelly, has won five of eight starts on the grass and is move up once again. We will use all three in the late Pick Three and also make an exacta box. 1-5-7

Key Play

$2 exacta box 1-5-7 for $12

Race 7

This race is very wide open and we will use all 8 horses and try and catch a longshot to go with our HTW single in race eight. ALL

Race 8

We have been waiting for No. 3, Tianjin, to resurface on the grass and today could be the day. She was in a ton of trouble last time out when blocked coming up the rail like a freight train, she could pop today at a very big price. No. 3

Key Play

$1 Pick Three for $24

6th 1-5-7

7th all

8th 3
