HOLLYWOOD PARK

Race 1

No. 3, Sting’n Inthe Rain, always make her late run but usually comes up short, she is stretched out in this race by Mitchell and gets a weak field. No. 2, Bold Cleo, is a five time winner, she gets stretched out also and will try and take them wire to wire. 2-3

Race 2

I would try and stay away from Doug O’Neill horses as they will be doing duty in the 24 hours holding barn and that usually doesn’t bode well but No. 1, North Fork, at 10/1 is very interesting to me as he ships in from Boise where he won at first asking back in May and now this 4yo gelding shows up here? No. 2, Umber, gets turned back in distance and goes from turf to the cushion track and the duo of jockey Talamo and trainer Koriner are very good when they team up. 1-2

Race 3

No. , Honored Gold, is the one to beat in here as she ran the best race of her career here at this same distance last year and has the look of a fillie sitting on a huge race. No. 3, Down, will make her usual late run and you will have no problem tracking her as she is as white a Casper the friendly ghost. 3-4

Race 4

No. 3, Glorious One, has been working out at San Louis Rey Downs so his works are hard to judge but the one thing I do like about this Old Topper first time starter for trainer Peter Miller is jockey Enriquez works all the Tommy Town horses and usually gets first call on the live ones, so this guy is ultra live. No. 2, Red Jasper, has some good works and Rosario rides for Sadler. No. 12, Albacore Bob, is on the also list but if he draws in his speed will make this one very dangerous. 2-3-12

Race 5

No. 5, Ghosttrapper, has blinding speed with nine lifetime wins to his credit, if left alone he could be gone but hey way he stopped last time suggest that he will stop again today. No. 1, One On The House, is in top form and does not need the lead, he will be on the heels of rapper from the beginning and should put it to him down the lane. He has won two of three at this distance and is one for one on the Hollywood grass. No. 1

Key Play:

$20 win and place No. 1 for $40

Race 6

No. 1, Wild McDreamie, looks to be spotted perfectly off his maiden breaker and he is the only one in this race that has won here on the cushion track. No. 4, Twin Turbo, just did miss here one race back and has been facing tougher, if he gets some pace to run at he wll be dangerous down the stretch but this 6yo gelding has just one win from 18 lifetime starts. We will bet on McDreamie and make a Q with Turbo. 1-4

Key Play:

$20 win and place No. 1 for $40

$10 Q 1-4 for $10

Race 7

No. 8, Afleet Ruler, looks best off his last race against Two Step Salsa but he is a hanger and will be overbet. The answer could be No. 6, Funny M, who ran a better then looked race in the Pasadena and may be ready for his best in this his third start in the states. 6-8

Race 9

With 2yo fillies going 5 furlongs, speed usually rules in these affairs, and No. 1, Lippy Rules, is a second time starter with speed, if she improves any off her first effort she will win but being in the 24 hour holding barn will not be a good thing, we will use her but not with a lot of confidence. No. 4, Veranda Café, and No. 6, Susan’s Wildcat, are both first time starters by Forest Wildcat and that means win early, we will box all three and root for a price. 1-4-6

Key Play

$5 exacta box 1-4-6 for $30

PLEASANTON

Race 4

The Northern California fair circuit starts and trainer Jerry Hollendorfer and jockey Baze look to have them measured in this race with No. 1, Afleet’s Desire. No. 2,Tail Spin Topper, and No. 3, Swiss Blend, will be the danger. 1-2-3

Race 5

Trainer Lage hopes to have a live entry in this 2yo filly race with No. 1, Della’s Valentine, and 1A, Legion Heiress. No. 3, Scarlett O, is a first timer out of the Steve Sherman barn and he has been hitting on all cylinders. No. 6 ,Ex Angel, gets blinkers on and a drop in class for her second start and that could add up to a trip to the winners circle. 1-3-6

Race 6

Another 2yo race that looks like Hollendorfer, Sherman and Lage: No. 1, Babs Mossa, is dropped once again by Hollendorfer as he searches for is level. No. 3, Shimmel, is a first timer out of the Sherman barn and No. 4, He’s On Fire, is dropped like a hot potato by Lage. 1-3-4

Race 7

No. 9, Perfect Jeb, has high speed and will have to be caught; No. 8, Due West, will be tracking Jeb and may have the most late. The one that could catch both could be dropper No. 6, Snoopini, he could wake up big time in this spot. 6-8-9

Race 8

No. 5, Our Tori, finds a very soft spot and this is here favorite distance. No. 10, Shezaluckypenny, ran well for jockey Bison in her last start and could be making a big late run with all the speed lined up for this race and she is 10/1. 5-10

Race 9

The only thing that may stop No. 8, Dr. Lori, is that outside dray, if she clears its lights out, if not look for No. 4, Sweet N Shiney, to run them down. 4-8

Race 10

This is a cold three horse race with No. 2, Johnny Gooseberry, coming in from Hollywood and dropping to the bottom of the maiden claiming ranks; No. 3, A. C.’s Miracle, is going from turf to dirt and also dropping to the bottom; No. 8, Big Bien, just may like it here. 2-3-8

Key Play

$5 exacta box 2-3-8 for $30

$2 tri box 2-3-8 for $12
