By GT Staff | Milwaukee Brewers +125 at Atlanta Braves
Even though Milwaukee started the season slowly, they’ve been playing well of late, winning seven of the last eight outings. During that stretch, the Brewers’ bats have come alive as the teams’ collective average jumped 22 points to .275, which has led to a respectable 5.6 runs per game. Conversely, the Braves have not been playing well this month. They’ve hit a weak .186 in their last five losses and their pitching has been allowing over 4 runs/game. Jeff Suppan for the Brewers was rocked his last time out against Baltimore, but he’s been fairly consistent all season. Give him the nod and the win to the Brewers. Milwaukee +125.
