Best Bet of the Day San Francisco Giants at Oakland A's - 6-27-08

Jun 27, 2008 8:22 PM

by GT Staff | San Francisco Giants at Oakland As (-155, 8u -115, LVH): The Green N Gold swept the Giants in the City by the Bay two weekends ago in interleague play a set-up SF would rather do without considering its woeful 4-10 record in it. Tonight, Oakland gives the ball to Dave Eveland (5-5), a southpaw who stifled the Giants, allowing just one run in 6 2/3 innings against them in a win at AT&T Park.

SF will throw right-hander Kevin Correia (1-5, 5.20 ERA), who lasted just a season-low five innings in his last start. Since coming off the DL, Correia has pitched 10 1/3 innings and has allowed eight runs.

With the As AL pedigree and the success two weeks back against the G-men, siding with the home team in this series opener seems appropriate. As -155.
