Tigers -165 vs Rockies (9)

Detroit has won 15 of its last 19 games and could reach the .500 mark for the first time all season if Justin Verlander and the bullpen can get the job done. The Tigers have struggled with Verlander, going just 4-12 in his starts. Verlander, though, is coming off a 5-3 win at San Diego and his last home start was a 5-1 victory over the Chicago White Sox.

Colorado had shown signs of life, winning 12 of 17 as of last week. But the Rockies dropped their final game of the homestand to the New York Mets and proceeded to lose four more on the road three at Kansas City and the opener last night at Detroit. Jeff Francis, like Verlander, has struggled most of the season. Colorado is just 5-12 in his outings. The Tigers should be in high spirist off the 7-1 win and with .500 in their sights. TIGERS.
