By GT Staff | Station Casinos has announced that the opening date for its newest resort, Aliante Station, has been set for Nov. 11.

The $675 million resort and casino is located in North Las Vegas off the 215 and Aliante Parkway. The last property opening by Station Casinos was the Red Rock Resort in April 2006.

"This is a very exciting time for our executive team. We are working diligently behind the scenes on preparation for our grand opening debut," said Joe Hasson, vice president/general manager for Aliante Station. "With 139 days left to go, we’re getting anxious to open our doors to the community."

Aliante Station will feature 202 hotel guest rooms and suites; six restaurants and a food court to meet every taste and budget; 14,000 square feet of meeting, banquet and convention space; Regal Cinemas’ 16-screen movie theater; a 600-seat entertainment/concert venue; and an array of popular gaming choices that include table games, a poker room, state-of-the-art race and sports books and slot/gaming machines.

The hotel is already taking room reservations. The 202 guest rooms and suites range from 400 square feet up to 1,500 square feet and include room appointments such as a contemporary room design, a 42 inch plasma television, CD player with IPOD jack, in-room audio entertainment system and high-speed Internet.

Room rates begin at $59.99.

Additionally, Aliante Station will also offer 14,000 square feet of meeting, convention and banquet space which can accommodate group sizes from 10 to more than 900 guests. The venue offers nine different room configurations including meeting rooms and ballrooms ranging from nearly 600 square feet up to 10,300 square feet.

"We’re starting to get dozens of inquiries from local, regional and national businesses as well as local community groups about hosting their special events and meetings. They have shared with us how much they enjoy attending special functions at our others properties and appreciate having a more convenient location in their neighborhood that offers the Station Casinos’ quality they have come to expect," Hasson said. "We plan on being THE local community gathering place for the residents of North Las Vegas."

Among the first convention groups booked at Aliante Station include the Mustangs Across America, a cross-country convoy that will come through Nevada as part of the 45th anniversary celebration of the Ford Mustang.

Aliante Station will be the company’s 11th hotel/casino and its 18th property in Southern Nevada. Aliante Station is a 50-50 partnership between Station and the Greenspun Corporation.
