Yesterday’s results

At Hollywood Park we had a good start as we hit our Q and win bet in race one, but lost our double. Race three and four were also no good. Our Pick Four single in race five won but our next two picks ran second costing us a nice Pick Four as the winner in the last race came back at $20.80. We will have yet another Pick Six carryover for Friday night racing which has become the norm at Hollywood. At Solano, in race four we bet the wrong horse as we had the winner but our other horse ran out. In race five we had the winner but could not get any of the other two up for second, blowing another good price. In race six we passed as the chalk Tigress in Jeans was an easy winner. We did hit the tri in race seven paying $86.70 for one dollar. In the late Pick Three we won race eight with our single, but ran second once again in race nine and had the winner in the last race costing us $24. Hopefully some of these seconds will turn into winners.

HOLLYWOOD PARK (post time 7:05 pm)

Race 1

This looks like a two horse race between No. 1, Seacoast, a first timer from the Marty Jones barn and he can pop with firsters. No. 5, Glory N Thehigest, continues to drop and her speed will be a force with these. 1-5

Race 2

No. 4, Taint That A Cat, looks to be sitting on a win and this crazy 7½ furlong distance may be the answer. No. 1, The Unclean Spirit, will get a great rail stalking trip and exits the same race as Cat. 1-4

Key Play

$4 double for $16

1st 1-5

2nd 1-4

Race 3

Leg one of the Pick Six carryover of $91,678 and we have been trying to hit one in this meet but have had no luck but we will give it another shot. In this race there are there that look to have a big say at this 1 1/16 distance. No. 4, Spriggzee, has won more races at this distance then the rest of the field combined and he is one of two trained by Mullins. No. 6, War Scandal, is the other Mullins and he won in wire-to-wire fashion in his last start here at this distance. No. 8, Cee Mister B, tracked War Scandal from start to finish last time out finishing second. 4-6-8

Race 4

No. 6, Moves Like A Cat, drops, has speed and gets Gomez for trainer Sadler who looks to be pulling no punches as he attempts to pad his lead and get the training title. No. 8, Stag Pm The Run, looks like his main danger. 6-8

Race 5

No. 5, LIT’SGOODLOOKNGRAY, has been right there but has had a case of the hangs, he will be a short price here, we will have to use him but will try and beat him with No. 8, Swift Demand, who gets his second start off the layoff and looks ready for a smasher. 5-8

Race 6

This race is so bad, the only one that appears to have any ability is come-backer No. 4, Salah’s Jewel, we will single. No. 4

Race 7

This race looks like the Sadler/O’Neill show as the leading trainer Sadler saddles come-backer No. 2, Quest Venture, and O’Neill who is the second leading trainer saddles No. 3, Congo King. 2-3

Race 8

It is give-up time for No. 1, Lotacat, as he is dropped to the bottom maiden claiming level here in So Cal. No. 3, Maltese Tiger, looks to have some speed and was 60 cents on the dollar first out for high percentage trainer Mike Chambers when last seen in April at Turf Paradise. No. 5, Wayne Manor, runs ever race the same and just could walk into the win. No. 10 Sunshine In drops his claiming price in half for this his third start. 1-3-5-10
