Dodgers -130 vs Marlins (7½)

GT’s own Sid Diamond put his stamp of approval on this pick so it has to be a winner. If ever a 1-0 or 2-1 game was in the making, here’s your sign. Ricky Nolasco has become the ace of the Florida staff. The Marlins are 6-0 in the righthander’s last six outings, including a 3-1 victory this past Monday at San Diego. Florida is on a three-game win streak, but has scored just 17 runs in its last five games.

Anemic scoring and the Dodgers are once in the same. LA is on another drought, managing just 13 runs in its last five. Through 93 games, the Dodgers have scored one run or less 28 times including a 3-1 loss to the Marlins the previous night. It’s a good thing Hiroki Kuroda is pitching. The Japanese righty has won his last two starts by scores of 4-1 and 3-0. Nothing is certain, but we expect a pitcher’s duel at the Ravine endorsed by "El Sid." UNDER.
