Thursday, August 7 results

At Del Mar we kept getting split but did hit the late Pick Three two times and it paid $62.80 for one dollar. At Bay Meadows we had little or no luck as we it three out of the last four races but lost our Pick Four when running second in race seven.

DEL MAR

Post Time 4:00 pm

Race 1

No. 3 Adarlyn Cat exits our HTW list and will try and turn the tables on No. 6, Carrie With a C, who beat her here on Aug. 25. 3-6

Race 2

Any one of the five entered in here would not surprise so we will use an all in this race and root for a little price and play the early pick three. All 5 entries

Race 3

No. 3 Heaven Tonight takes a little drop in class and she gets some pace up front she could run them down late. NO. 4 Salah’s Jewels came off a long layoff and showed high speed but tired down the lane and finished second. No. 11 Glory N Thehighest drops in class, gets blinkers and Baze, she will get a good stalking trip from her outside post.

3-4-11

Key Play

$1 Pick Three

1st 3-6

2nd 1-2-3-4-5

3rd 3-4-11 for $30

Race 4

No. 1 Bewitching Bartok just don’t run many bad races and is in top form. No. 3 Corporal Tillman exits the same race as Bartok and will stalking that one from start to finish. No. 8 Common Trust has his claiming price cut in half as does No. 10 Mikes Trippin who both exit the same race. No. 11 Johnny High Brite also exits that race. 1-3-8-10-11

Key Play

10 cent super box 1-3-8-10-11 for $12

Race 5

If none of the first time starters are live then No. 12 Sarah’s Melody looks like the one in here, she drops from a straight maiden and switches jocks from Contreras to Solis, all systems are go and we will single her in a Pick Three and the late Pick Four. NO. 12

Race 6

No. 4 Carman looks live first off the Steve Knapp claim and this guy has won three of four on the grass, look for him to be flying late. No. 2 Shadow of Illinois has not seen the starter since March of 2006 but would have chewed this bunch up and spit them our back when so who knows. No. 5 California Flag has big speed and comes back rather quickly. No. 7 Thoughtuknew is dropped by Morey and will be part of the pace picture. 2-4*-5-7

Key Play

$1 Pick Three

4th 1-3-8-10-11

5th 12

6th 2-4-5-7 for $20

Race 7

No. 1 Dancing in Silks will need to use his speed to flee the rail but No. 5 Kool Comic could apply pressure which would hamper Silks chances and set this one up for someone off the pace. No. 2 General Dan won here in fine fashion just eight days ago and is aggressively spotted by Gary Stute, he will be boxcars if he can score. Another who will be boxcars and is aggressively spotted is HTW One Chin Again who just broke his maiden for trainer O’Neill and now is entered in this the Real Good Deal 100K. No. 8 Lethal Heat looks to have the best post and the best closing kick, she is a fillie running against the boys but did just win the Fleet Treat here on July 20 at this distance in a very good time, Gomez jumps aboard as her usual jock Bejarano jumps ship to ride Kool Comic. We will go with the best speed in here and that is Silks and even though she is a fillies we will also use No. 8 Lethal Heat who has won five of her seven starts. 1-8

Key Play

Race 8

No. 2 My Man Sumo and No. 3 Let’spickupthepace goth exit the same race a 100K claimer and now are running for 40K, both have good speed and could end up one two in here. No. 10 I Wanna Go Fast is a sneaky looking first time starter out of the Art Sherman barn, this one could pop at a big price. 2-3-10

5th 12

6th 2-4-5-7

7th 1-8
