Race 1

No. 4, Nascar Johnny, drops and puts the blinkers on as trainer O’Neil searches for the answer. No. 8 Form a Posse ran good on the drop and will get a great trip from this outside post. 4-8

Race 2

No. 2, Shesalittlepistol, looks well placed off the maiden score. No. 3 Seattle Avenue makes her first start as a 3yo and did just miss on the layout last year by a neck. No. 5 Found in Dark find a much easier spot for her second start off the layoff. No. 6 No Name Just Game just does not want to win but is a very good play in the exotics in the second and third positions. No. 8, Msty Aly, drops and gets blinkers, she will go much better in this spot. 2-3-5-6-8

Race 3

Trainer Avila usually pops with a few big prices at this meet but has been shut out so far but he does have a first timer in here No. 1 Seenosmoke 15/1 that we will use. No. 2 Tigley is the horse to beast as he drops back to 25k. No. 6 Prodigal is a first time starter with decent works, he looks ready for a good effort. No. 7 Norco Pal gets a pivotal rider change. No. 9 Michael’s Notes showed good speed against straight maidens in his one and only and now drops to the bottom, if he gets loose he could get brave 1-2-6-7-9

No. 3 Stormy Game is stretched out and tried on the grass both for the first time but has one of the best grass jocks on the West Coast in the irons in J Valdivia. Surf Academy had his race over the track and will be coming late if the speed comes back. 3-8

Race 5

No. 5 Squire Trelawny gets blinkers on and looks ready to graduate. No8 Going Forward exits the same race. No. 9 Tizsong will be right there in start no.8. 5-8-9

Race 6

No. 5 Gamblers Justice finds a much easier spot as she gets back to reality. No. 6 Sayit is an honest fillie who never puts in a bad effort. No. 8 Royal Heraldry loves this course and this is her best distance and the red hot Gomez sees fit to ride. 5-6-8

Race 7

No. 1 Barber won this race last year, No. 2 Frank the Barber has the class but may need longer for his big late kick. No. 3 Bonfante has won five of eight at this distance on the grass. No. 4 Idiot Proof has won 1.2 mill and tries the grass for the first time. No. 6 Get Funky is the stalker in here, if he can stay close look for him to get real funky down the lane and run them down, he is one for one at this 5f on the grass distance. We will use all five in the late pick three. 1-2-3-4-6

Race 8

No. 6 The Supply Program just did miss by a head here on July 26 and now gets Gomez in the irons, we will single and hope he don’t run second once again. The others with a shot that we will use are No. 4 Brave Sun who takes a big drop in class, No. 5 Pawnee who just won here on July 30th and No. 7 Careless Candidate the comebacker. 4-5-6-7

Race 5

There looks to be some value in the late pick four so we will take a shot, in here leg one we will use No. 5 Sexy Soldier who loves this dirt course and No. 7 Wicket Wager who is two for two here at the Bay. 5-7

Race 6

It just don’t get any tougher then maiden fillies going 5f on the grass for a 25k. No. 5 Wong Lee looks well placed for her first start off the layoff for trainer Gary Mandella. No. 9 Maggie’s Patches just did miss by a nostril at .60 cents on the dollar gong this distance on the grass at Santa Rosa. No. 12 Minimums Minimums is a first time starter who gets in from the also list and could be live for trainer Lage. 5-9-12

Race 7

No. 1 Bradford is and old pro who likes it here. No. 5 Dons Champion is five for nine lifetime and three for four here at the Bay and is the one to beat. No. 7 Tranquilo has run his best races here and looks to offer the best value at 6/1 in the morning line. 1-5-7
