At Del Mar we hit our early double for a small profit but lost our early pick three when the one got a lone lead and took them wire to wire. We hit the exacta in race four, it came back $44.40. We had the winner in race five but our pick six and late pick four went down as we lost the sixth and seventh races.

No. 8, To Hot For You, is out of the red hot Mike Mitchell barn and has the look of a short priced winner. No. 1, Sorry Baby, exits the same race a race in which she was the 3/2 chalk. 1-8

No. 5, Seven Lucky J’s, exits our HTW$$$ list and is a recent Jeff Mullins claim, Jeff moves him from a 32k maiden claimer to this straight maiden race, he must like what he purchased. No. 6, Chocolate Candy, sired by the undefeated Candy Ride will love being stretched out to this flat mile distance. 5-6

No. 7, Slew’s Tiznow, hasn’t been seen since running second last year at Keeneland in the a GR1 stakes, this guy can run. No. 8, Cherokee Artist, was the beaten favorite in the West Virginia Derby and is shipped cross country by a very sharp trainer. No. 9 Leonides has three wins and three seconds from seven lifetime starts, he has home field advantage and is the one to beat. 7-8-9**
