by Mark Mayer | With the NFL beginning play Thursday, there’s still time to get in a few wagers on some key games in the coming weeks.

The Las Vegas Hilton Super Book annually offers its NFL Games of the Year, which have been updated weekly since its July release. Here are some the best beginning with Week 2.

Sunday, Sept. 14

Patriots -6½ at Jets: Favre, Belichick, Spygate. What more can you want? Can’t miss TV at the Meadowlands. Maybe Hoffa will show!

Monday, Sept. 15

Eagles +7 at Cowboys: No love lost between these NFC East rivals. T.O. against McNabb. Pacman behaving. Tune in.

Sunday, Sept. 21

Jaguars +4½ at Colts: An early indicator of what Jacksonville brings to the table this year as a Super Bowl possible.

Sunday, Sept. 28

Redskins +10 at Cowboys: Back to back enemies at home for Dallas. Nice baptism for new Redskins coach Jim Zorn.

Sunday, Oct. 5

Bears +3 at Lions: Nice old fashioned scrum between NFL originals while both are still in the hunt.

Sunday, Oct. 12

Patriots +2 at Chargers: A rematch of the AFC title game. San Diego will want to make a statement, even though it’s just regular season.

Monday, Oct. 13

Giants +1½ at Browns: Their 37-34 preseason game may have been the most entertaining of them all. Wouldn’t mind seeing another shootout.

Sunday, Oct. 19

Colts -4 at Packers: Green Bay a home underdog in a showcase game for Aaron Rodgers against Peyton Manning.

Sunday, Oct. 26

Chargers -3 at Saints: These teams are truly linked. Drew Brees used to be the San Diego QB. Philip Rivers may want to show San Diego did the right thing.

Sunday, Nov. 2:

Cowboys -3 at Giants: Dallas was bounced from the playoffs by the Giants. Many think Dallas has the best team in the NFC. Here is a chance to prove it.

Sunday, Nov. 9

Giants +3 at Eagles: Could be a Dallas hangover for the Giants as the hungry Eagles await the defending Super Bowl champs.

Sunday, Nov. 16

Chargers PK at Steelers: Good test for Big Ben and the Steel Curtain to see if they have the stuff to challenge for the AFC title.

Monday, Nov. 24

Packers +3½ at Saints: Nothing like Rodgers in prime time against Saints game-breaker Reggie Bush. Superdome crowd on a Monday night worth watching by itself.

Thursday, Dec. 4

Raiders +12½ at Chargers: The Raiders are usually magic on Thursdays and Mondays. So why not here when they’re a huge dog!

Sunday, Dec. 14

Giants +7 at Cowboys: The rematch of last month’s meeting at the Meadowlands. This time it’s on Dallas soil. Will Pac Man still be playing?

Sunday, Dec. 21

Bengals +4 at Browns: The Battle of Ohio provided that the Bengals can keep enough players out of jail.

Sunday, Dec. 28

Broncos +6 at Chargers: Denver might be San Diego’s only competition in the AFC West. Will it be Veal or Jay Cutler?
