Harrah's debuts progressive card

By GT Staff | Football fans love parlay cards, and this season Harrah’s 12 Nevada properties will debut a new parlay card that features a progressive award.

The card is called Pro Pick Progressive and, for $10, gives players a shot at a progressive that starts at $50,000 and continues until hit.

"We have the best $10 parlay card in the state," says Chuck Esposito, race and sports director at Caesars Palace.

To win, players must correctly pick the winner of 16 NFL games or propositions (totals, etc.). To make it more interesting, half the games require picking the winner against the point spread.

If no one correctly picks all 16 games, the progressive increases.

There is a weekly consolation prize for those who pick the most winners, but fall short of running the table. About $2 of every $10 bet goes into the consolation pool.

In the final week of the NFL season, the progressive will be paid to the player or players with the most winners, whether or not they correctly pick all 16 games.
