Petco Park, San Diego

Dodgers -155 at Padres (8)

Take the Dodgers out of Los Angeles and they are a different team. The eight-game win streak, all at home, ended last night in San Diego. Los Angeles maintained its 1½-game lead in the NL West over Arizona, currently riding a four-game losing streak. The Dodgers look to square the series with a rematch of last Wednesday’s game in Los Angeles.

Hiroki Kuroda didn’t make it past the sixth inning, but wound up getting the 6-4 victory over the Padres. Wade LeBlanc, in his first start, was bounced after four innings. The two meet again in Petco and that 8 looks short even though this is a pitcher’s ballpark. The Dodgers, not noted for the longball, hit three homers in that victory. Kuroda runs hot and cold, but should pitch better here. DODGERS.
