by Mark Mayer | Lucky’s sports books are offering a twist to the NFL betting in its efforts to make a mark on the Las Vegas betting scene. The latest perk for bettors is an open door policy on NFL season wins, odds on teams making the playoffs along with upcoming matchups. No cutoffs.

"We will be updating our props each week for the entire NFL season," said Mike Colbert, former race and sports director at the Plaza and now associated with Lucky’s establishments in Las Vegas and Reno. "Unlike all other sports books which take them down when the regular season starts, we’re leaving them up for our customers."

Colbert said the updates will be available every Wednesday morning up until Sunday morning kickoffs. The Lucky’s staff will adjust the odds and prices on Monday and Tuesdays in order to have them available when parlays cards come out. Lucky’s will also be providing a variety of prop bets on the three most popular NFL games each week. Those bets will be available each Thursday.

In addition to the futures updates, Lucky’s will offer a number of alternate point spreads on selected college and NFL games each week. The Brandywine group operates out of the Plaza and will be taking over operations at Terrible’s properties here and in Primm on Saturday. Among Lucky’s chain of command is famed Las Vegas oddsmaker Jimmy Vaccaro, who provides a weekly column "Vaccaro’s View" for GamingToday.
