by GT Staff | Baylor at Connecticut (-12) (ESPN2, 4ET/7PT): After facing the worst team in GamingToday’s Dirty Dozen – Washington State – Baylor heads eastward to face an undefeated UConn team (3-0) and will certainly have its work cut out for them. The player to watch in this matchup is Bears QB Robert Griffin who will be making his first road start of the season.

Bears coach Art Briles knows his squad is in for a tussle in Storrs tonight.

"They [Connecticut] are a good football team; they went 9-4 last year, won the Big East and went to a bowl game," Baylor coach Briles said. "They have 19 of 22 starters back. They are 26-8 at home over the last four years and they have won eight or nine in a row. They are a tough team."

The prescription for UConn will be obvious but maybe not so easy to achieve: Stop Baylor QB Griffin from running wild. And that will be easier said than done. But the Huskies do have a stingy defense chock full of speed so they should be up for the task against this team still trying to find its way.

GT handicapper extraordinaire Richard Saber "loves" Connecticut in this spot and with his track record, why should we disagree? CONNECTICUT -12.
