Wynn needs 5,000 workers for Encore

Staff & Wire Reports | Despite a record high unemployment rate in Nevada and nationally, the "Help Wanted" sign is hanging in front one of Las Vegas' premiere destination resorts.

Wynn Las Vegas and its sister property continue to accept applications for 5,300 newly created job opportunities, as they prepare to unveil Encore, the new signature resort in the Wynn collection.

Wynn and Encore began accepting applications in July and have already received more than 65,000 job inquiries. Encore is scheduled to open in December.

Current openings at Encore span a cross-section of departments including housekeeping, hotel operations, and security, food and beverage, retail and casino operations. Opportunities are also available at Wynn Las Vegas.
