Cardinals -145 vs Reds (8)

There are just two games left in the regular season, but Cincinnati quit a long time ago. The Reds have dropped three straight and send their biggest bust of the season, Aaron Harang, to the hill. Harang, thought to be Cincy’s ace, has turned into a liability with a putrid 6-16 record. The righty is 2-1 with a 1.57 ERA in his last three starts, but the overall body of work is appalling.

The host Cardinals have strung together four straight wins and throw Todd Wellemeyer, now well again after spending some time on the DL. Wellemeyer is 12-9 with a solid 3.69. Although 0-3 in his last three outings, the 3.18 ERA indicates that a lack of run production did him in. That should not be the case here. CARDINALS.
