OAK TREE at SANTA ANITA

ONE SHOT: Just took a big drop in class when running a good second at Fairplex and looks to have found the right level with 16K claimers. His style seems to suit the new Pro-Ride surface at Anita.

STROPPY: Made a big late run when finishing a very fast closing third in her last start and appears set for the winning run in her next start. $$$

MOON MOMENT: Looked set for the maiden breaker, but was hard to load and got all worked up before the break. She then broke slow and wide until the second turn. After going very wide into the stretch, she came on like a freight train to just miss. Moon flew by the winner at the wire, but just ran out of ground. $$$

GREY STORM: Just loved this guy in here as he was let go at 6-1. I let go of my hard-earned cash as he bobbled at the start and then was squeezed back. Jockey Rosario had no choice but to go six wide, but was gaining late and settled for the show dough in a huge try despite all the trouble. This guy could show up at the Gate so keep and eagle eye open. $$$

GOLDEN GATE

LOOKIN FOR THE LORD: Got caught up in an early pace battle and looked like dead meat at the top of the stretch when fading to fourth. Came back on between horses and just did miss the place. This guy is very live at a price. $$$

TIGER ON THE PROWL: Was bumped hard at the start and made a wide move, but lost several positions. Rallied in a much better than looked effort and is a long shot special in his next start.

BARTOK'S BLING: Never came out of the gate and was well back in another galaxy. She commenced her bid on the turn when being angled widest down the stretch. Made a bold rally coming from last to first and won going away in an eye- popping performance. This one is moving on up. $$$

TOOTSNMONEYBAGS: She was taken back at the start by Baze as he took a very confident hold of this filly. He let her loose at the top of the lane and she cruised to a very easy win. This girl looks like a repeater and on the move up for her new connections.

LO RISQUETTE: Was big steam in this 32K maiden turf route, but just did miss by a nose in a very gutty performance. This girl may have found a home on the turf and will be hard to deny in next start on the Golden Gate green.

TOPAZ MOON: Got in tight early and was checked hard. She then made a rally and dueled for the lead, but tired late from her early trouble.
