National League Playoffs, 5:20 p.m. PT

At Dodger Stadium, Los Angeles

Dodgers -150 vs Phillies (8)

Game 3 is an absolute must for LA or it’s down 0-3 and faced with winning four straight games to reach the World Series. Not likely. Philadelphia won the first two games at home with its best pitchers Cole Hamels and Brett Myers, even though the latter did more with his bat than his arm. Even in defeat, Manny Ramirez is still banging out homers and extra base hits, which bodes well for the return to the West Coast.

The home team has won all 10 games this season. The Dodgers swept a four-game series with Philadelphia in August, with one of the victories a rude treatment of Game 3 starter Jamie Moyer. The ageless lefty is just 3-4 lifetime against LA and has a bloated 16.80 ERA in his last three matchups. Counter that with Dodgers starter Hiroki Kuroda, who is 1-0 with a 1.38 ERA lifetime against Philly. Kuroda also has a tidy 1.76 ERA in his last three starts overall. This has zig-zag and home field edge written all over. It’s do or die for LA. Like Tampa Bay last night, we think LA gets it done. DODGERS.
