Oktoberfest celebrations around Las Vegas bring deals

It’s Oktoberfest time, which means party time and cheap eats!

Rampart Casino invites everyone to celebrate the Oktoberfest season at Addison’s Lawn from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 19 with German delicacies, draft beer and music by the Dumkopfs.

The all-you-can-eat Oktoberfest special is $25 per person ($40 with bottomless German draft beer). Tickets are on sale now at the main cage inside Rampart Casino. Seating is limited.

Ellis Island Casino and Brewery will hold its annual Oktoberfest on Saturday, Oct. 25 from noon until 10 p.m. The cost is $15 per person for all you can eat and drink plus a free $5 Ellis Island Collectors Chip. There will be $1,000 cash drawings at 6, 8 and 10 p.m. Players earning 500 points anytime in October qualify for each drawing ticket.

Additional drawing tickets for jackpots can be obtained by wearing a German or Alpine-themed shirt. Participants must be present at the drawings to be eligible to win. Tickets and additional information are available at the promotions booth.

MonteLago Village Resort at Lake Vas Vegas will host its Oktoberfest on Oct. 17-18 from 5 to 11 p.m. each day. Entertainment will be provided by the Dumkopfs. There will also be beer-chugging, polka dancing, yodeling contests, prizes, German food specials, a beer garden outside of Casino MonteLago plus beer specials at Auld Dubliner. Admission is free.

Twin Creeks at Silverton Casino Lodge is offering guests $5 glasses of premium wine to complement the restaurant’s signature sides and entrées. Premium wine selections include Niebaum – Coppola (Oct.), Fetzer (Nov.), Beringer (Dec.), Robert Mondavi (Jan.) and Clos du Bois (Feb.). Wonderground, the magical club experience hosted by Jeff McBride at Palace Station, will host the 7th annual Witches and Wizards Masquerade Ball on Friday, Oct. 24. It will be open for the first time to the public.

The evening will include performances by several top magicians, dance and costume contests along with a special midnight ritual theater experience. The cover charge is $10 for the event, which begins at 10 p.m.
