Hawaii Warriors at #16 Boise State Broncos (-23½, 51, Las Vegas Hilton SuperBook): Hawaii (3-3 SU, 2-3 ATS) has covered three in a row versus its Western Athletic Conference rivals, but, Boise State (5-0, 3-1) busted the spread the four previous meetings. And it’s no surprise that the over is 4-2 in the last six meetings.
The Warriors lost a lot on offense in QB Brennan and WRs Bess and Grice-Mullen and also law longtime head coach June Jones take the pineapple express straight to SMU. In their last five spread games, UH has been outscored 201-100 so the Warriors’ defense is still not their forte.
Boise St. redshirt freshman QB Kellen Moore has been a real find, beating out last season’s starter Taylor Tharp for the job, and with RB Johnson and WR Childs working their magic, BSU has been its regular great self. In the last four years, the Broncos are an amazing 19-7 ATS on their blue "Smurf Turf" and seem to always find a way to please the home crowd. It’ll be a mismatch of talent tonight in Boise, so lay the lumber in what should be a relatively high-scoring contest. A shot with Boise minus the two TDs in the first half may also be worth a shot. BOISE ST. -23½.
