LBS: "A Burger Joint" is now open at Red Rock Casino Resort. Rock ‘n’ roll casual, LBS serves up gourmet burgers, without gourmet attitude. With its all-natural, gourmet burgers and a beer selection of more than three dozen domestic, imported and microbrew blends, LBS is a modern take on the classic American burger joint.

With organic ingredients, original recipes and unparalleled guest service, LBS attempts to create the best burger experience in Las Vegas. Using only hormone-free Hereford beef and organic turkey, house-made sauces, farm-fresh, all-natural vegetables, and hand crafted buns, LBS is committed to culinary excellence.

The interior of the restaurant creates a retro-cool vibe of the quintessential American roadhouse. The restaurant features a 40’ long bar, a hand-blown glass steer head and the American flag consisting of more than 3,500 metal license plates suspended from the ceiling. Hours of operation are Sunday-Thursday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Friday-Saturday until midnight. Entrees range from $11.50 to $15.25.

More casinos are adding Octoberfest activities. Every Thursday in October, Seasons Buffet at Silverton Casino Lodge features an authentic Oktoberfest dinner menu beginning at 4 p.m.

For $21.99 or $19.99 with Discovery Club card, guests can enjoy spätzle, grilled beer sausage, German potato salad, sauerbraten and more. Featuring six live action stations, Seasons Buffet offers an endless all-you-can-eat variety. Guests can start with garden-fresh selections from the salad bar, continue to a wide variety of delicious hand-prepared entrées and end with dozens of made-from-scratch desserts.

Hawaiian Tropic Zone inside Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Casino invites college students to the ultimate study break every Thursday for College Night from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m. Each week during College Night, students can enjoy $3 domestic drafts, $5 well drinks, $2 shots for all ladies, $100 bottles of Skyy vodka and half off all appetizers.

Hawaiian Tropic Zone focuses on having fun with nightly Nintendo Wii tournaments on a 73-inch television. In addition, college undergrads have the chance to win complimentary bottle service during weekly drawings. Guests must be 21 or older with a valid college ID.

The 2008 Dive-In Movies at Mandalay Bay Beach previously scheduled for Oct. 24 and 31 have been canceled without explanation.
