This Dog has Pacman scent

In case you‘ve been out of the country, Pacman Jones has been charged by commissioner Roger Goodell with violating the NFL personal conduct policy and is back in NFL jail.

I’m sure we’ll see Pacman on the Dallas sideline in a few more weeks. Until then, keep your eyes peeled on him at your local strip club.

Raiders +7 at Ravens: The Raiders look to have bought into Tom Cable, though they still have trouble running the ball. Baltimore just doesn’t allow teams to rush over 100 yards. As a general rule though, the Ravens will not put up enough points to cover this spread. RAIDERS.

Cards +4½ at Panthers: We need to be respectful of the way Carolina has been crushing opponents at home. The Panthers’ defense shut down an extremely hot Drew Brees. I think the less mobile Kurt Warner will be another breeze. Cards have not been sharp while dropping their last two games away from Arizona. PANTHERS.

Bucs + 4 at Cowboys: Nothing is going right for the Cowboys right now. Brad Johnson looked a little rusty. Plus, Dallas is banged up physically as well as psychologically. Maybe Tony Romo will tough it out, pull a Ronnie Lott and just amputate the pinkie. Or, maybe Jessica will kiss it and make it all better. BUCS.

Skins -7½ at Lions: The Redskins knew their next three Sundays would be slam dunk wins with the Browns, Lions and Rams. The Browns didn’t end up being such an easy victory. I think the Skins had their scare at home and will now tame the Lions. I’m not sure how Orlovsky will carry the offense on his back. SKINS.

Bills -2 at Dolphins: I like the way Trent Edwards responded to his injury. Two touchdowns and a 25 of 30 completion rate is one heck of a way to treat your post concussion syndrome. The Fish might feel snagged in a net after losing a heartbreaker to Houston in the final seconds and then being pounded by Baltimore. BILLS.

Rams +7 at Patriots: Pats on a short week. This will give new coaching genius Jim Haslett a full day head start on the former genius. Pats aren’t nearly as intimidating without Tom Brady. Rams won’t be that scary without Steven Jackson but we’re going to bet on him playing through his pulled muscle injury. RAMS.

Chargers -3 at Saints: Both of these clubs are playing themselves right out of contention within their divisions. No home field advantage in London, where the Saints’ crown jewel, Reggie Bush, will not be on display. The London Eye will be on Tomlinson and he’ll finally respond with a long overdue huge game. CHARGERS.

Chiefs +12 at Jets: Wow, that seems like a lot of points only the Chiefs are really bad! Croyle is out with a sprained knee. Huard has an injured right hand. That leaves Tyler Thigpen. If that doesn’t scare you enough, you’ve got Larry Johnson fighting with women and Tony Gonzalez requesting to be traded. JETS.

Falcons +7½ at Eagles: I truly believe Andy Reid’s Eagles are in for a heavyweight, knockdown brawl. No one can give Matt Ryan enough kudos for what he’s accomplished as a rookie. The Falcons are coming off a bye and big wins over the Packers and Bears. Philly just 1-2 in its last three. FALCONS.

Browns +7½ at Jaguars: The Jags will out muscle the Browns. But it’s probably too many points, just like the 8 was for the Skins last Sunday versus the Brownies. It might be time of the Brady Quinn show. BROWNS.

Giants +3 at Steelers: I fail to believe the G-Men will allow Mewelde Moore to rush for 120 yards like the Bengals did last week. The Giants were a pretty decent road team during the Super Bowl run I remember from a year ago. Here’s hoping the Browns’ Monday night laugher was a fluke. GIANTS.

Seahawks +1 at 49ers: Here’s Seattle’s chance to get out of the cellar. Did I say chance, I meant to say no chance. NINERS.

Bengals +9 at Texans: I’m sure the Bengals will win a game before the season ends. But I wouldn’t bet on it happening soon. Fitzpatrick was sacked seven times last week and Cincy is no threat to run the ball. I will be on the other side of this play if Carson Palmer were to return. TEXANS.

Colts +3½ at Titans: I’m not betting against the Titans. I’ve been on the flashless Kerry Collins for six straight and I’m not getting off the ride before the fun is done. I don’t think the Colts can stop the combination of LenDale White and Chris Johnson. I can’t say Indy misses Joseph Addai because he was nothing to write home about before he was injured. And, Tennessee can play a little D. The Titans have allowed just 11 a game on their current win streak. TITANS.

BEST BONES: Falcons, Bills, Chargers.
