WORLD SERIES (Game 4)

At Philadelphia, 5:25 p.m. PT (FOX)

Rays -105 at Phillies (9½)

Even though Philadelphia is up 2-1 in the Series, Tampa Bay is favored for the second straight night at Citizens Bank Park. The Phils won a dramatic 5-4 decision in Game 3 as the total pushed the projected figure of 9. The weather is expected to be improved over last night’s rain that delayed the start almost 90 minutes with clear skies and a temperature in the low 50s at game time.

Even though Andy Sonnanstine and Joe Blanton are No. 4 pitchers on their respective starting staffs, each has been tough to beat. Sonnanstine is 2-0 in the playoffs for Rays, while Blanton has not lost a game for the Phils since being acquired from Oakland in a midseason trade. The under is 2-0-1 in the Series and helped by Carlos Pena and Evan Longoria each held hitless. Sonnanstine has been a big-game pitcher, but seeing the Rays favored on the road has us looking at the total and another low scoring affair. UNDER.
