Baseball Betting Tip of the Day - Rays at Phillies - 10-29-08

Oct 29, 2008 7:04 PM

by GT Staff | World Series Game 5 (continuation of suspended game)

Tampa Bay Rays at Philadelphia Phillies -155

After being rain-suspended Monday night, these two clubs pick up from their 2-2 deadlock in the bottom of the sixth inning. The three-inning "game" could signal the end to the series, as well as an end to the controversy over Phillies bettors being declared the game-winner yesterday in Nevada sports books. If Philadelphia tonight goes on to win the game and the series, there can be no claim from Tampa Bay bettors that their tickets from Monday were prematurely voided. But that won’t happen. The Phils are too strong offensively and the Rays are reeling. Give Philadelphia the nod in closing out the 2008 World Series (so we can move on to the basketball season!). Phillies -155.
