Horse Racing Betting Tips by Richard Saber |

Hollywood Park

Race 1

This is one ugly race, No.1 Bella Dancer broke her maiden her at this distance, she has speed and will be right there. No.2 Grey Lassie won for fun when breaking her maiden on the Pro Ride Santa Anita surface and only need to transfer her form to Hollywood. 1-2

Race 2

No.1 Gooch’s Dream ran big when moved up and stretched out on the grass in his last start and Bejarano sticks. No. 5 King of the Green exits the same race as Gooch’s Dream a race that he was a fast closing second. No.6 Shem Tov has had his chances but jockey Sutherland got to know him last time and today may be the day on the stretchout. 1-5-6

Race 3

Tough field of 32k 3yo fillies going 6 ½ furlongs, No.2 Proud Garrison loves this track and is the one to beat. No. 6 Stroppy won her one and only on this layout and will be the one to fear late. 2-6

Race 5

No.6 Street Match usually gives his her best but need a perfectly timed ride and he may get that today with Joe Talamo. No. 8 Keladora gets her first start off a rare Carla Gaines claim, this 5yo mare is ultra live. 6-8

Race 6

2 yo fillies going 1 1/16 can be very harmful to your bankroll so tread lightly. We will take our shot with No.1 Crazy Tricia who is part of what looks to be a tough Doug O’Neill entry as she is coupled with 1A Princess MO, but we like her and not Mo, so if she happens to be a late scratch just pass. Tricia gets stretched out for this and has the look of a fillies that wants to go long. No.1

$10 win and place 8 for $20

No.3 Times Gone By is by sire Giants Causeway, he will love the stretchout on the grass and looks super in this spot for trainer Dick Mandella. No.3

Race 8

No.2 Flip the Penny looks well spotted off the layoff for trainer Spawr. No.6 Five Star Charm will get a good trip and fits well with these. No.7 I’ll Prey for you has a ton of back class but all must not be well with this 6yo gelding as they drop to the bottom, Sutherland sticks and this guy if he still has three legs will be coming with his late run. No.11 Seth the Candeyman will get a great trip at what will be a nice price from his outside post. 2-6-7-11
