The Tennessee Titans are 9-0, the Detroit Lions are 0-9 and the Caesars Palace NFL Pro Pick Progressive is 10-0 in rollovers. As we enter Week 11 of the NFL regular season, still nobody has been able to post a perfect 16-0 record at the 10 Harrah’s properties across Nevada. So, the big prize for a $10 entry this week is now $74,501.

This is the first year the Progressive has been available to Las Vegas residents. Previously the Progressive was featured at Harrah’s-Reno and Harvey’s-Lake Tahoe. Now in addition to those northern Nevada resorts and Caesars, the Progressive cards can be found locally at Harrah’s, Rio (pictured at right), Flamingo, Bill’s Gambling Hall & Saloon, Bally’s and Paris. If you’re headed to Laughlin, the cards are available at Harrah’s-Laughlin.

The Progressive is open to anyone for just $10. Those entering have to pick 16 winners (eight sides against the spread and eight straight up) on the card. The previous 10 weeks failed to produce a perfect score, thus the rollover. Last week’s pot was worth $72,474 with the top record among entrants at 14-2.

Harrah’s properties each week offers the person or persons with the best record a consolation prize, which can range from $500 to $1,000 or more. Should there be a tie for the top mark, the pot is split. Bettors should note that double-digit dogs in the NFL this season are 14-1 against the spread. Two more are on the slate Sunday. The Las Vegas Hilton has Miami a 10½-point favorite over Oakland and Carolina a 14-point chalk against Detroit.

You wonder why nobody has hit the big pot? Well, last week favorites and underdogs were dead even at 7-7 ATS. Not much to go on.
