Cardinals -3 at Seahawks (48)
Arizona is in rarified air with a 4-game lead over Seattle, San Francisco and St. Louis is the weak NFC West. The Cardinals are not in must-win situation, especially when the closest pursuers are bunched at 2-7 through nine games. Arizona’s 6-3 record is impressive, but most of the success has come in a 4-0 home mark. For years, the Cardinals have been dicey at best as a road underdog, much less a favorite.
Seattle had been the best team in the NFC West for a number of years, but not this season. Much of the problem centered on the injury to starting QB Matt Hasselbeck. The Seahawks basically have to run the table to have any shot at the division title, but at least Hasselbeck will return to the lineup here. Last year Hasselbeck threw four TD passes in a win over the Cards. Seattle is 7-3 against Arizona in the last 10 meetings and benefits from Arizona hosting last Monday night’s emotional game with the 49ers. SEAHAWKS.
