For the first time ever, Class II slot players have a million-dollar, wide-area progressive to shoot at.

Last week, Bally Technologies announced it has installed its new 1,000,000 Degrees progressive-linked game at the Riverside Casino in Alabama.

"This is the first time anyone has offered this type of linked progressive game in the Class II market," said Gavin Isaacs, chief operating officer of Bally Technologies. "We are also launching this ground-breaking new Class II link with a brand new multi-progressive gaming product designed to appeal to players with its top million-dollar jackpot prize."

Bally plans to deploy the progressive link – similar to Megabucks and Wheel of Fortune in Class III casinos – to other tribal casinos throughout the country.

"We already have a backlog of orders for this exciting new WAP (wide-area progressive) and we therefore expect this link to expand very quickly," Isaacs said.

Class II slot machines are offered in gaming jurisdictions – primarily tribal – that aren’t permitted to offer Nevada-style Class III slots. However, they look and play basically the same way "standard" slots play.

The new Bally 1,000,000 Degrees-themed reel slots consist of four separate, linkable multi-level progressive games: 1,000 Degrees, Triple Blazing 7s Wild, Black & White Wild Jackpot and Black Gold Wild. These four linked progressive games each feature a million dollar progressive jackpot opportunity that is triggered when five or more 1,000,000 Degrees symbols appear with maximum bet.

Players also have a chance at getting up to 15 free bonus games when three scattered "Free Games" symbols appear on reels two through four.

Available on Bally’s ALPHA Elite upright widescreen stepper platforms, all four 1,000,000 Degree games feature a top progressive jackpot award that resets at a base amount of $999,999.99 and increases with game play.
