No 'mirage' -- 20% off at MGM

The Las Vegas properties of MGM MIRAGE, including Bellagio, MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, The Mirage, Treasure Island, Monte Carlo, Luxor, Excalibur and Circus Circus will hold a 20 percent off all merchandise sale at their stores over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

The sale includes logo merchandise as well as distinguished brand names including Just Cavalli, Valentino (clothing and handbags), Juicy Couture, Ed Hardy, Michael Kors, True Religion, DKNY and more. The discount includes regular priced merchandise as well as already reduced merchandise.

The great buys don’t include Rolex, Panerai and Patek Philippe watches as well as Hearts on Fire and John Hardy jewelry. Also excluded are all snacks, alcohol and cigarettes.

Participating in the sales event are La Scarpa, Tesorini and Capri at Bellagio, Xclusiv at MGM Grand, Bejeweled and Pearl Moon at Mandalay Bay, The Street of Shops at The Mirage, The Store at Treasure Island, Indulge at Monte Carlo, Threads at Luxor, Castle Keepsakes at Excalibur and Exclusively at Circus Circus.

The sales event will run this Thursday through Sunday. Hours vary based on individual outlet hours.

Ellis Island Casino & Brewery will be serving its annual traditional Thanksgiving Day turkey dinner special in the restaurant this Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. A complete holiday feast including all the trimmings and a delicious dessert goes for only $10.99 per person.

Victory’s Café at the Cannery (North Las Vegas) will serve traditional roast turkey dinners or baked ham with giblet gravy, sage dressing, mashed potatoes, glazed yams, dinner rolls, chef’s vegetable medley and fresh cranberry sauce for $11.99 per person. Included is a choice of soup or salad and pumpkin, apple or cherry pie for dessert. Serving hours are 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

A little more "upscale," this Thanksgiving, the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino welcomes locals and guests alike to enjoy a family-style holiday dinner at the elegant Italian restaurant, AGO. For only $49.95 per person, the delectable five-course meal will offer a variety of antipasti, freshly crisp insalada, butternut squash risotto, a main entrée of roast organic turkey and maple pork loin.

A traditional holiday dessert with hand-selected wines will accompany the meal. The delicious chef-selected menu will be offered on Thanksgiving Day only from 5 to 11 p.m.
