Titans -11 at Lions (44½)
This "turkey" could have been billed "perfection against imperfection." The Lions kept up their end, blowing a 17-0 lead to Tampa Bay in falling to 0-11. Unfortunately, the Titans came undone at the hands of the New York Jets and hit Detroit at 10-1. This game has ugly written all over it, but Detroit has a history of playing well in Thanksgiving Day games – a long-standing tradition in the Motor City.
The Titans got away from their running attack last week as QB Kerry Collins tried to beat the Jets with his arm. Look for head coach Jeff Fisher to work Chris Johnson and LenDale White a lot more into the game plan. White had just one carry last week. The Lions shouldn’t pose much of a threat offensively against the strong Titans defense so we look for a workmanlike effort from the visitors. Hopefully, a lot of long ball-control drives from Collins and a lower score than projected. UNDER.
