Sixers -6 vs Bulls (193½)
This is a rare twinight NBA matchup in the city, which has no brotherly love lately for the Sixers. Philly has slipped to last in the Atlantic Division at 7-9 off three straight losses, including a 24-point beatdown by the Boston Celtics. The Sixers are 5-2 at the Wachovia Center, but spotting this many points while on a losing streak is a dicey proposition.
Meanwhile the Bulls also enter play with a 7-9 record in this the seventh and final game of their killer road trip that began in Los Angeles against the Lakers. Chicago is 2-4 on the swing and 3-3 against the spread. Maybe the biggest plus for the Bulls is that they have been idle the past four days. Their last game was a 10-point loss at San Antonio last Wednesday. The extra rest we feel will re-energize the Bulls, who return home for a Tuesday a rematch with the Sixers. BULLS.
