No. 17 Villanova -13 at Penn (144)
The tradition that is Big Five basketball in Philadelphia continues at the famed Palestra, home court for the Penn Quakers. The 13 points seem short when you consider the stats. Villanova is off to a strong 6-0 start with its closest result a 13-point decision against 5-2 Rhode Island, which only lost to Duke by 3. The Wildcats also own an 18-point win over Albany, which beat Penn this season by 10.
The Quakers are just 1-4, including a 17-point loss to a No. 1 ranked North Carolina team that played without Tyler Hansbrough. Penn also lost as a 2-point underdog to Penn State, 85-73. The Quakers have long been a dominant team in the Ivy League, but the program has slumped. Yet the lines have not reflected the slide, which offers value to the Wildcats. VILLANOVA.
