49ers +6 at Dolphins (41)
"Easy schedule, can’t win by margin" or however you want to slam the Dolphins, the fact is they are very much alive for the playoffs coming off a 1-win season a year ago.
Still bettors of Miami have to be concerned with the recent 1-4 ATS mark, which includes escapes from lowly Seattle, Oakland and St. Louis by 2, 2 and 4 points respectively. Contrast this to the 49ers, who are 4-1 against the number since Mike Singletary took over in midseason as head coach.
The Niners, though out of the playoff picture at 5-8, have played with a new intensity and come off an impressive 10-point win at home against the New York Jets. Sean Hill has been a solid replacement at QB for J.T. O’Sullivan in the Singletary reign. Top RB Frank Gore is not expected to play, but we still think the Niners can keep this one close and perhaps pull off the upset. 49ERS.
